I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember, concentrating mostly on wildlife and animal portraits. (I don’t really like the term ‘pet’ as I feel it devalues the precious animals that share our lives with us!). I am passionate about animal welfare and this is often reflected in my subject choice. Over the years I have had the privilege to work in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation and this has led to a deep understanding and respect for animals in their natural environment.

I have taken on many animals that have been ill or abandoned and this has meant that I have gone through the terrible grief of losing them, sometimes not very long after they have come into my life. Each one has been an absolute joy and they have taught me so much.

I love to help others find a way of honouring their furred or feathered companions through unique portraits that will be treasured forever. I also offer memorial pieces with the option of a subtle rainbow in the background or with the addition of wings to the animal, symbolising their new life on the other side. My original works and prints can be viewed and purchased either on this site or in my Etsy shop

I accept a limited number of commissions each year, please get in touch if you would like to discuss an idea for some artwork and I will be happy to discuss options with you. You can email me and send me any photos that you would like me to work from.
