‘Each piece of artwork begins with a love of wildlife and a desire to capture the quiet strength, gentleness, and beauty found in creation. Some of my artworks are paired with scripture, some with thoughtful words of encouragement, and others are left beautifully simple - allowing the animal itself to speak.’
I’m a wildlife artist based in Nottinghamshire in the UK, and I create detailed animal paintings designed to bring a sense of encouragement, calm, and connection with the natural world into everyday homes.
My love of wildlife began many years ago. I’ve always been fascinated by the quiet strength and personality found in animals — the alertness of a fox, the steadiness of a badger, the gentleness of a rabbit. Through painting, I try to capture not only how these animals look, but also the feeling they evoke.
Over time my artwork began to take on a deeper purpose. I realised that the character of each animal often reflects something meaningful about life — courage, peace, resilience, gentleness, or hope. Pairing these animals with thoughtful words, uplifting quotes, or meaningful scripture felt like a natural way to share encouragement through art.
Some pieces are inspired by faith and include verses from the Bible. Others use simple inspirational words, and some are left without text so the beauty of the animal can speak for itself.
My hope is that each piece becomes more than just decoration. Whether displayed in a nursery, family home, or quiet corner of a room, I hope the artwork offers a small reminder of strength, comfort, and the beauty found in creation.
I accept a limited number of commissions each year. Please get in touch if you have an idea for some artwork, whether it’s a custom pet portrait or some bespoke wildlife art, and I will be happy to discuss options with you. You can send me any photos that you would like me to work from and I will get back to you with ideas and prices.
I sometimes like to play around with a more illustrative style and print some greetings cards. These can be found in the shop section.
This is my handsome rabbit, Rowan. I rescued him from a house where he was being kept in a cupboard, and now he lives like a prince! Rowan keeps me company in my studio and is always full of mischief and happiness, reminding me to smile every day!
