Do you accept commissions for custom pet portraits?

Yes! I create bespoke pet portraits from photographs, creating a unique piece of artwork to celebrate a much-loved animal.

I can create portraits of dogs, cats and other beloved pets, whether they are still by your side or you would like a special memorial to remember a pet you have sadly lost.

If you’re considering a commission, please get in touch to discuss your ideas, your preferred size and the photographs you have available. There’s no obligation to book a commission — I’m always happy to have a chat first.

What kind of photographs do you need for a pet portrait?

The best photographs are clear, good-quality images taken in natural light, where your pet’s face and features can be seen clearly.

However, please don’t worry if you don’t have the perfect photograph. If your pet has passed away, I understand that you may be working with older or less-than-perfect photographs. Send me what you have and I’ll be happy to look at them and let you know what may be possible.

You can also tell me about your pet’s personality and the little things that made them special. These details can help me create a portrait that feels truly personal.

How long does a pet portrait take?

Every commission is different, so the time required depends on the size and complexity of the artwork and how many commissions I am working on.

As a general guide, commissions can take anything from a couple of weeks to several months.

If you are ordering a portrait for a special occasion or have a particular date in mind, please contact me as early as possible. I’ll always do my best to accommodate your deadline and will keep you updated as your portrait progresses.

How will my artwork be packaged and delivered?

I take great care when packaging artwork to make sure it reaches you safely.

Delivery times vary depending on the product. Original artwork and wildlife prints are normally dispatched promptly, while made-to-order products may take a little longer to prepare.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible with photographs of the damage and the packaging so that I can help resolve the problem.
